Bacon Pizza Squares

 
Easy and delicious bacon pizza. Refrigerated pizza crust topped with garlic mayonnaise, bacon, onion, tomatoes, and Swiss cheese.
 
Ingredients -
6 Slices Bacon
1/3 Cup Green Bell Pepper (Chopped)
1/3 Cup White Onion (Chopped)
4 Plum Tomatoes (seeded and chopped)
1 Tablespoon Fresh Basil (chopped)
2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
1 Clove Garlic (Crushed)
1 Package Refrigerated Pizza Crust (10 ounce)
3/4 Cup Swiss Cheese (shredded)
 
Preparation:

Preheat oven 375 degrees F.

1. In a large skillet over medium heat place the bacon.

2. Fry it until crisp.

3. Drain it on paper towels.

4. Crumble it into a medium-size mixing bowl.

5. Mix in the bell pepper, tomatoes, and basil.

6. In a separate small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and fresh garlic.

7. Roll the pizza crust into a 12x15 inch rectangular baking sheet.

8. Evenly spread the mayonnaise mixture over the crust.

9. Sprinkle the bacon mixture over the mayonnaise, and top the entire pizza with cheese.

10. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until the top is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.

11. Cool and cut the pizza into 24 squares.

White Onion
For color, chopa scallion and toss it in with the white onion.

Swiss Cheese
Mozzarella would be a great substitute for the Swiss cheese. A mix of cheese or your favorite white cheese would work well.
